The Kecskemét Tennis Academy is a newly established, fast-developing sports club with the goal of building the next generation of tennis players on strong foundations.
Our qualified coaches create a supportive and inspiring environment where young players can not only learn the fundamentals of tennis, but also become part of a close-knit, motivating community.
Our Academy is an ideal choice both for beginners discovering the sport and for players aiming to develop at a competitive level. We welcome children from preschool age and offer training in multiple age groups, on different court sizes, and within skill-based groups. Our structured programs ensure that every player can progress at their own pace while staying continuously motivated.
For Academy members, we also provide a variety of events, in-house tournaments, community programs, and development opportunities—ensuring a complete sporting experience both on and off the court.
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Kecskemét Tennis Centre will host the KATE – Kecskemét Amateur Tennis Players Association – Club Day, featuring an amateur tennis tournament.
The aim of the event is not only to compete, but also to bring together the Kecskemét tennis community, strengthen friendships through sport, and create an enjoyable day centred around tennis and community. Participants will have the opportunity to test their skills in friendly yet exciting matches while spending an active morning together at the Kecskemét Tennis Centre.
One of the main objectives of KATE – Kecskemét Amateur Tennis Players Association is to preserve the values and traditions of tennis in Kecskemét while continuously supporting its development, both in terms of infrastructure and community life. The Association places particular emphasis on strengthening the local tennis club community, bringing players together, and promoting the social role of sport.
At the heart of KATE’s activities is the connection between sport, health, culture, and community. The Association is committed to preserving and passing on Kecskemét’s tennis traditions while building a community where tennis is not only a competitive sport, but also a place to meet, relax, connect with others, and enjoy shared experiences.
Tennis at the Kecskemét Tennis Centre doesn’t stop when the outdoor season ends! On October 12, 2026, the installation of the tennis dome will begin, marking the start of preparations for the 2026/2027 winter season.
We are introducing several improvements this winter to ensure comfortable and high-quality playing conditions throughout the colder months. The tennis dome has undergone a complete renovation and thorough cleaning and will return to the courts in fully refreshed condition.
We are also upgrading the lighting inside the dome. New, modern lighting will be installed to provide more even and suitable illumination for play. During the winter months, when natural daylight is limited, it is especially important to ensure excellent visibility of the ball and create the most comfortable playing conditions possible.

There’s plenty happening at the Kecskemét Tennis Centre during the autumn break! During the school holiday, we are preparing a special day camp for children, running from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the indoor tennis dome and the newly renovated clubhouse, where the focus will be on physical activity, tennis, games, and, of course, having fun.
The aim of the programme is to give children the opportunity to spend part of their autumn break being active, enjoying sport and having fun together. Tennis will take centre stage throughout the programme, with fun activities, various skill-based exercises and tennis sessions. We’re also preparing a little Halloween fun for the last day! Children are welcome to come in costume, so alongside tennis and games, we’ll wrap up the camp with a fun and special Halloween-themed day. The activities will be designed to ensure that both beginners and children who already play tennis can enjoy the experience.
Alongside tennis, there will also be plenty of time for group games, physical activities, relaxation and shared experiences. We would like these days to be about more than just sport – they will also be an opportunity to make new friends, share lots of laughter and enjoy a memorable autumn break together.
Throughout the daytime programme, we will provide supervision and organised activities for the children, offering parents a convenient option during the weekdays of the autumn school break.
On December 5, the Kecskemét Tennis Centre will be filled with festive cheer as we host the Santa Claus Cup, a fun and friendly children’s tennis tournament!
The aim of the tournament is to give children the opportunity to test their skills in a playful and supportive environment, compete against one another, and gain valuable experience on the tennis court. It’s not only about the results – the focus of the day will be on the joy of tennis, shared experiences and having fun together.
We warmly welcome all young tennis players to join us for this special Santa Claus Day tennis event, where we will, of course, have a few festive surprises waiting for the participants!
